The Street Food Truck is more than just a food truck—it’s a labor of love, driven by the passion of Chef Ana and Kev. On a sunny arvo in 2023, when Kev’s craving for Chaats went unfulfilled in his own backyard in Ballarat, he knew something had to change. That’s how The Street Food Truck was born.
We wanted to share the vibrant, bold, and diverse tastes of India with our community, so we set out to create a food truck that would deliver a genuine street food experience—just like the ones you’ll find on the bustling streets of India. For us, this is not a business but a passion project.
Authentic Flavours
Chef Ana’s expertise and love for Indian cuisine shines through in every dish, with a special focus on South Indian flavors. Whilst we offer street food specials from all over India, we’re especially known for our dishes that hail from region of Maharashtra & Karnataka— rich in tradition, packed with spices, and full of bold flavors. Our menu is 100% vegetarian and intentionally different, featuring items that are rarely seen in local restaurants, each one telling a story of tradition, innovation, and boldness.
As a food truck, we have the freedom to experiment, change, and surprise you with new, exciting flavors at every event. But one thing remains constant—our commitment to authenticity and quality. Every dish we serve is a chance to experience the true essence of South Indian street food, made with love, passion, and the spirit of adventure.
